Ten Can’t-Miss Cricut Graduation Ideas

Today I have ten awesome Cricut graduation ideas to share with you!  I should have put this post together sooner, but with all the snow days we had this winter here in northern Indiana, the last days of school were pushed back to June, and the graduation parties are just now getting underway.

So, without further delay, let's start this list!  The first six ideas are for all of my readers who are hosting a party for a graduate.  However, for the majority of us, we will be attending parties this year, not hosting them - the final four ideas are for you!

#1: Graduation Invitations & Annoucements

Starting off, the first thing you will need to do is send out invitations for the big event.  If you are concerned that making your own invites will be too time-consuming, just keep them simple!  I really like these announcements from Cricut Card Projects...

#2: Photo Brag Buttons

One of my favorite Cricut bloggers, Tammy Skinner, will be celebrating her son's graduation this year, and she has lots of great ideas on her site!  First are these photo brag buttons that she made for family members to wear to her son's graduation ceremony.  Love 'em!

#3: Congratulations Banner

Tammy also made an awesome banner for his party.  Check out her website for her layer by layer picture tutorial.

#4: Party Centerpiece

While we're on the topic of party decorations, next up is a graduation centerpiece that I found on the Creative Express blog.  The wooden rulers are a clever embellishment!

#5: Framed Scrapbook Layout

One of my favorite ways to use die cuts is to embellish scrapbook layouts.  Why not frame a layout of your graduate and put it on display at the party?  I found this idea on Craft Gossip.

#6: Cricut Graduation Cake

What's the one thing you will find at every graduation party?  Cake, of course!  If you have the Cricut Cake machine, save yourself a trip to the bakery and make your own!  I could spend all day looking at the Cake Central gallery.  Here's one that I couldn't resist sharing:

Six Cricut graduation ideas down, and just four more to go!

#7: Graduation Cards - High School & College

Do you have a party to attend and need to put together a quick graduation card?  I found one on the Cricut Blog that would be perfect for either high school or college graduates.  The card was created using the Imagine machine, but if you don't have one, you could get similar results using patterned paper with your die cut machine.

#8: Graduation Cards - Preschool and Kindergarten

While we are talking about cards, don't forget about the little ones graduating from preschool and kindergarten!  I really like these Create a Critter cards from Brenda at Sweet as a Gumdrop.

#9: Gift Idea - Personalized Graduation Frame

Personalized, handmade gifts are so easy to make with a Cricut!  The Oh My Crafts blog has an awesome tutorial for a graduation frame.

#10: Graduation Cap Gift Box

In addition to personalized gifts and cards, you can use your Cricut to decorate gift bags and boxes.  I really like this gift box from Crafty Gizmos in the shape of a graduation cap:

Well, that concludes my list of ten can't-miss Cricut graduation ideas.  I hope these ideas inspire you!  If you have anything to add to this list, please do so by leaving a note in the comment section below!
