Cricut Accordian Fold Father’s Day Card

Are you looking for Cricut Father's Day card ideas?  I just started, and after visiting YouTube this morning, I now have a couple of ideas!  I have two videos that I want to share with you today.

The first is from Handcrafted by Kristen.  In her video, she shows how to make an accordian fold father's day card with an origami shirt.  She does not provide instructions regarding how to make the shirt, but you can find those on my very next post: Father's Day Card Ideas: How to Make an Origami Shirt.

I do not want to get ahead of myself, so first, here is Kristen's video:

Her card base is 6" x 11", which she scored at 1-1/2", 3", 5" and 7".  She used the Cricut Fabulous Finds cartridge for the base of her sentiment.

Most accordian fold cards will not stay closed on their own, so you will need to secure it with something.  Kristen used a ribbon, but you can also use a belly band, which is just a strip of decorative paper that slides over the card, with the end secured with an embellishment or a piece of velcro.

You can either make an envelope for your card, or with its final dimensions of 4" x 6", it should easily fit inside a standard A6 envelope.

If you have any questions, let me know.  Also, I would love to hear about your plans for Father's Day!  Have you made anything yet? Or are you like me, still trying to figure out what you are going to do!  Leave a comment below to let us know what you are up to...
