Check Out the Life’s a Beach Cricut Cartridge

Life's a Beach Cricut CartridgeHere it is - the middle of July already.  With the sun shining brightly and the temperatures climbing, there's no better time than now to talk about the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge.

Whether you make weekly trips to the beach, or take annual vacations to the coastline, this cartridge is perfect for your scrapbook layouts featuring those memorable moments building sand castles and splashing in the waves.

This cartridge is loaded with fun beach-inspired shapes - tropical flowers, birds, and fish, palm trees, mermaids, hula dancers, waves, scuba divers, lizards, boats, sand toys, seashells and sand dollars, turtles, crabs, surfboards, and so much more!  It has everything to make adorable die cuts for your scrapbook layouts and handmade cards.

Also, as you may already know, beach themed bedrooms and wall murals are very popular for kids' rooms.  This cartridge, when paired with colorful vinyl, is the perfect way to inexpensively decorate a bedroom that any beach bum would be proud to call their own.

With designs by Rob & Bob Studios, it also has a fun Tiki style font, as well as six creative features to add to your die cutting capabilities:

  • Layers:  Give your die cuts dimension and depth by using this feature to cut layers to place on top of the main cutouts.
  • Title Words:  Beach shapes and phrases are welded together using this creative feature, to quickly and easily make titles for your scrapbook pages.
  • Border:  Shapes are welded together, creating cute borders.
  • Photo Cards and Square Card:  The Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge makes card making super simple with these two creative features.
  • Charm:  Using this creative feature, shapes are embedded in die cut charms.

The Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge actually got off to a rough start when it was released in spring 2009.  Several vendors had preview pictures of it available on their websites, and took presale orders based on those images.  However, when the cartridges actually shipped, many of those images were missing from the final version.

There were several complaints.  However, despite the initial problems (and the missing images), this is one that you definitely want in your collection!
