Making Memories SLICE News for April 2009

The Making Memories SLICE is a great little tool for a countless number of projects.  If you are looking for some ideas to get started, check out these handmade projects we stumbled across during the month of April:

  • Chia Yuan's Blog
April 9, 2009: Blogger Chia Yuan posted a beautiful handmade card she created with the help of her SLICE.  For her card, she used the Basic Shapes 1 and Just Chillin' Teen cartridges.  Check it out...
  • Triple the Sketch
April 24, 2009:  If you are needing inspiration, you owe it to yourself to visit Triple the Sketch.  While you are there, make sure you check out the 12x12 scrapbook layout by Alisa.  She used her SLICE machine to cut the letters of her little one's name.
  • Kadee Morrison Designs
April 29, 2009:  Yet another beautiful card made with Making Memories SLICE die cutter!  Kadee "sugared" the die cut heart on this card using a very simple technique.  She simply brushed a thin layer of glue on the heart, and then dipped it in some crystal dust.  We love the results!
  • Latisha at a CrafteeBee
April 30, 2009:  You will adore this birthday card posted by Latisha on her blog.  She used the Basic Shapes 1 design card to cut a four inch star.  To soften the lines of the star, she crumpled the paper just a bit - a simple touch that looks fantastic!
