Cricut Walk in My Garden Cartridge – It’s Springtime!

Walk in My Garden Cricut CartridgeWhat better way to welcome spring than by making die cuts with the Cricut Walk in My Garden cartridge!

By the way, in case you missed it, the official start of spring was Friday, March 20th. I'm always happy to see this day on my calendar. Unfortunately, here in northern Indiana, mother nature does not always know that spring has officially arrived. It's not uncommon to have cold, wintry days mixed in the warmer ones, which means I will have to wait a few more weeks before I can start digging in the dirt.

However, instead of just daydreaming about my garden, I can do a little scrapbooking with the Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge. Released back in October 2006, this cartridge is still one of my favorites.

With artwork by Brenda Birrell, there are all types of green thumb and gardening inspired die cuts you can make:

* whimsical flowers, including tulip, iris, hydrangea, bleeding heart, rose, sunflower shapes and more. In total, there are nineteen flowers on this cartridge, and this does not even include the leaves and other accents that you can use to add unique characteristics to each flower die cut

* gardening gadgets, such as a watering can, flower pot, wheelbarrow, shovel, gardening sign and seed packet

* bugs, insects and other critters you might find in your backyard, including bees and beehive, butterflies, ladybugs, a snail, caterpillar and even a turtle

* cheerful phrases perfect for card making, which include "be happy", "thanks a bunch", "for you love" and "thinking of you"

Along with the phrases, the creative features included with this cartridge are great for card and tag making. In addition to one card feature and two tag features, you can also make a border (cute!). The shadow and blackout features, which are great for accenting your die cuts, are also included.

Stuck inside with a bad case of spring fever, I can think of no better cure than the Cricut Walk in My Garden cartridge!
