Cricut Cartridge Storage Ideas

The Cricut binder is just one of many ways to store your growing collection of cartridges, as well as the design booklets and overlays that accompany them.  Following are a few other (inexpensive!) Cricut cartridge storage ideas...

If you primarily do your scrapbooking and paper crafting in one room of your home, consider buying an over-the-door shoe organizer with clear pockets.  The pockets are the perfect size for holding your cartridges and overlays.  Although you can buy shoe organizers in a variety of colors, clear pockets work best if you want to find what you need with just a quick glance.  Shoe organizers can be bought just about anywhere, from big box bargain stores like Wal-Mart and Target, to specialty bedding and linen stores.

If you would like to display your "collection", shelves may be your answer.  For example, check out this handmade Cricut shelf I found on Etsy...

You may be able to find something similar at a craft bazaar or fair, or if you know someone that is handy with power tools, enlist their help to make a custom storage unit.

I know many of you like to attend scrap meets, or swarms (as we buggers like to call them), you will probably want something more portable than the prior options.  If you would like to do something other than the typical Cricut storage binders, good news - here are a couple of ideas for you...

Personally, I like to use a portable file folder tote.  You can pick one up just about anywhere that office supplies are sold.  I have colorful hanging file folders in mine.  Each folder is labeled and contains a cartridge with the corresponding design booklet and overlay.

The new Cricut Jukebox is also a great way to store up to six cartridges at a time, and there is room in the base for the books and such.

Well, that's just a few ideas.  We would love to hear any ideas that you have, so feel free to leave a comment below and let us know how you store your cartridges - or really, any of your scrapbooking supplies, for that matter!
